8. Data Security.

Why your data which passes our systems is safe:

Our systems reside on a secure server protected in accordance with industry's best practices. We also utilize backups and an extensive DRP plan to protect the operations in case of the unforeseen events.

When BRIGR enabled application submits a request through a BRIGR proxy, first it notifies the proxy of the destination URL with an HTTP CONNECT header.

Once the request is approved to pass the BRIGR, it continues as an SSL encrypted TCP stream. Data transferred within that stream is not visible to us because we do not possess the client’s encryption keys.

We, therefore, recommend all of our clients to use the SSL encryption to avoid the security breach.

In a similar manner, we do not intercept the TCP streams proxied by us.

We do not record your traffic data or perform a DPI on it.

We do not modify your traffic, introduce SSL certificates affecting your communications or perform any activities classified as “man in the middle” attack.

However, we will store as follows:

  • the proxy HTTP CONNECT headers;
  • source and destination IP addresses;
  • access timestamps and any other information required to provide the services.
